Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When does the 2024 Season start?
A: The 2024 ACLL Open Day is March 9th, 2024. Tryouts for the season will take place in January.  


Q: When can I sign my player up for the new season?
A: Registration for the 2024 season will open on October 14, 2023. Registration will remain open until January 1, 2024. A late fee will be applied to all players registered after January 1st. 

Q:  How do I know what division to register my player in?
A:  Players will be assigned to a division based on their age according the Little League Age Chart. 

Q:  Are kids allowed to play in a division older or younger than the one they are categorized in?
A:  Yes. The placement for players will be determined by tryouts.

Q:  What is the cost to play?
A:  $190 for Tee Ball (4-5yrs) & Rookies (6-7yrs). $225 for all other baseball & softball divisions (6yrs-up). 

Q:  I don't want to pay for registration online. What do I do?
A:  Online registration will accept credit cards. Checks and Cash can be used to pay on Document Verification days or you can send payment Via Venmo - [email protected] - Make sure to put the players name if sending via Venmo.

Q:  Is there a discount for siblings?
A:  Yes, there is a $50 sibling discount for each additional player registered.

Q:  What if I can't afford to pay registration fees?
A:  You can reach out to any Board Member to discuss other options. 

Q: How can my player prepare for the Spring 2024 season?
A: ACLL will be hosting player clinics & camps for all players who have registered for the 2024 season. Our first player clinic will take place on November 11th with MLB player Tyson Ross. We will also host two player camps in January.  Players MUST be registered in order to participate.

Q:  Can you explain the tryouts? What is that for? 
A:  We have tryouts for divisions Farm and up so we can place all players in the correct division based upon their skill level and age.

Q:  When do games start?
A:  Opening day is scheduled for March 9th, 2024. 

Q:  What days/times will the games be played?
A:  Game schedules will be available once all team rosters have been filled.

Q:  How is the game schedule created when multiple leagues play each other?
A:  The league president and player agent will schedule games with other leagues.

Q:  I have kids that want to play on the same team. Can I put them all on one team?
A:  Yes this is an option, but it will depend on age and skill level.

Q:  How do I know my player will get to play different positions and really learn the sport I register them in?
A:  We train and work with coaches and managers to teach players fundamentals of the game and all positions depending on the division they play.

Q:  What rules of play do you play with?
A:  We use Little League Organization rules along with some other house rules. 

Q:  I want to help out. How do I get involved?
A:  All families are required to complete 15 volunteer hours throughout the season. There are many options for completing volunteer hours. One requirement for every family is to volunteer at least once in our Canteen OR as an umpire. You can also accumulate hours with coaching, score keeping, or helping your players team with practice or setting up and taking down fields for games. If you would like to earn your hours off the field, we recommend you sign up for our Sunshine Team.
